Hurricane Aquatics offers swimming lessons for all abilities at the University of Miami’s heated, Olympic-size outdoor pool. We provide private and semi-private lessons year-round for ages 4 through adult. Our experienced instructors focus on water safety, building confidence, refining technique and making learning fun

Small Group LEssons
Small groups are designed for 1 to 4 children. Participants should have similar skill levels, as child pairs with a significant ability gaps will be moved to the correct class. Before purchasing lessons, please confirm availability to ensure we can accommodate your schedule. Any unused lessons on an inactive account will expire after 12 months from last use.
Lessons are 25 minutes of instruction, with an additional 5 minutes built in for instructors to connect with the swimmer, speak with parents if needed, and prepare for their next lesson.
Pricing (total):
- 5 lessons: $125 ($25/lesson)
- 10 lessons: $220 ($22/lesson)
- 15 lessons: $300 ($20/lesson)

Our one-on-one private lessons are designed to meet each swimmer’s specific needs. We offer instruction for children ages 4 and up, adults, and individuals with special needs. Please note that private lessons are not available for high school-age swimmers due to NCAA eligibility rules. Before purchasing lessons, please confirm availability to ensure we can accommodate your schedule. Any unused lessons on an inactive account will expire after 12 months from last use.

Participants should have similar skill levels, as child pairs with a significant ability gaps are not eligible. Before purchasing lessons, please confirm availability to ensure we can accommodate your schedule. Any unused lessons on an inactive account will expire after 12 months from last use.
Lessons are 25 minutes of instruction, with an additional 5 minutes built in for instructors to connect with the swimmer, speak with parents if needed, and prepare for their next lesson.
Pricing (total for both swimmers):
- 5 lessons: $300 ($30/lesson/swimmer)
- 10 lessons: $530 ($26.50/lesson/swimmer)
- 15 lessons: $720 ($24/lesson/swimmer)

Adult Lessons are one-on-one classes focusing on the needs of the swimmer. We offer lessons for young adults, advanced adults, those with special needs, and seasoned athletes.
Please do not purchase lessons until you know we can accommodate your schedule. Any unused lessons remaining on an in-active account for 12 months will be stale-dated and expire.
Pricing:
- 5 30 minute lessons: $260 $52/lesson
- 10 30 minute lessons: $500 $50/lesson
- 15 30 minute lessons: $675 $45/lesson
- 5 hour-long lessons: $410 $82/lesson
- 10 hour-long lessons: $750 $75/lesson
- 15 hour-long lessons: $1095 $73/lesson
