CANES is a USA Swimming member club that offers year round competitive swimming for ages 6 and older. Swimmers should know all four competitive strokes coming in and we will build a solid foundation of technique emphasized training from the novice to the National Team level and international competitor. Each athlete will receive individualized attention to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. The coaching staff and swimmers will work together for greater individual success; by encouraging teamwork, developing a strong work ethic, building self-confidence and refining leadership skills.

The coaching staff works with the athletes, parents and volunteers to create a positive environment. The goal of the coaches is to positively affect every athlete in the CANES program as well as Hurricane Aquatics as a whole. Positive energy as well as personal stroke development is one of the mainstays that sets our coaches apart. These things combined with continuing education allow us to provide the highest level of instruction.

Stroke School

Stroke School focuses on developing the four main competitive strokes. In order to attend, youth swimmers must first complete an evaluation.

Cost: billed monthly
$85 for one day per week
$155 for two days per week.
$190 for three days per week.
